David Guise, one of the oldest citizens of Straban township, passed away last Sunday, from kidney trouble and the infirmities incident to old age. His age was 86 years 4 months and 28 days. He is survived by two sons, Jacob, of Straban township, John, of Butler township, and three daughters, Mary and Elizabeth of Straban, and Mrs. Israel Lentz, of this place.
The funeral was held at 10 o'clock yesterday morning with interment at Friends' Grove, Rev. John D. W. Deardorff, officiating.
