Rites Set Saturday for Mrs. Johnson, Longtime Resident.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Assembly of God Church for Mrs. Almeda Victoria Johnson. 123 E. Willow who died at her home early this morning.
Rev. A.J. Windle will officate with burial in Holdenville Cemetery under the direction of Hudson Funeral Home.
Mrs. Johnson, born in Mountain Home, Ark. March 1, 1880, came to Holdenville from Arkansas in 1901 and had lived in this area since that time.
Pallbearers will be grandsons, Willlie Simpson, Roy Johnson Jr., Larry Been, Johnny Johnson, Edward Johnson, Donnie Johnson and Jerry Lee Johnson.
Honorary bearers will be R.O. Klines, Ira Newman, Orion Abott, Chester Mullins, Emit Petete, Bill French, Ralph Steele, Sam Wilkes, Carl Stanford, Wyatt Smith, Otho Weatherford, H.A. Fairbanks, Frank Suter and Lee Weatherred.
She is survived by her husband, L.N. Johnson, of the home; three sons, Roy Sr., of Holdenville; Floyd of Wewoka and Carl of Oklahoma City; two daughters; Mrs Ruby Mary Been, Oklahoma City; 28 grandchildren, 67 great granchildren and 32 great great grandchildren.
