SALISBURY, Mo., Sept. 23 -- The funeral of Mrs. Frances Dennis, 76, who died Monday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Jesse Brummall, was held Tuesday afternoon at Prairie Valley Church, with the Rev. Mr. Stone of Moberly preaching the funeral sermon. Burial was in the Finnell Cemetery.
Mrs. Dennis was a native Missourian and her maiden name was Lusher. She had been ill for about two years. She is survived by five children, Thomas J. Dennis of Huntsville, Thurman Dennis of Clifton Hill, Raymond Dennis, Mrs. Jesse Brummall, and Mrs. J. D. Bovenizer, all of Salisbury. There are 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Stella Holmes of Salisbury, and a brother, John Lusher of Kansas City [Moberly Monitor-Index and Moberly Evening Democrat, 23 Sep 1943, Thu ·Page 7].
