Funeral services were held at 2 p.m.Tuesday, January 13, 2009, in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Crowley, with Minister Jason Cordor officiating, for Mary Lee A. Broussard, 80, of Crowley, who died Saturday, January 10, 2009, at 11:30 a.m in American Legion Hospital in Crowley.
Burial will follow in Abshire Cemetery in rural Kaplan.
Visitation was observed Monday from 12 noon to 10 p.m. and Tuesday, 8:00 a.m. until time of service.
She is survived by one daughter-in-law, Betty Broussard, of Crowley; three sisters, Marie Cryer, Vidar, Texas, and Winnie Blanchard and Marlene Skinner, both of Crowley; two grandchildren, Michelle and Chris Dupont, of Rayne, and Scotty and Tiffany Broussard of Crowley; four great-grandchildren, Sarah Dupont, Jordan Broussard, Logan Broussard and Shayna Kibodeaux.
Ms. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Preston Pierre Broussard; her son, Donald Ray Broussard; one brother, Claude Arceneaux; and two sisters, Eulla Mae Hebert and Jean Romero.
