Wales Leland Aughenbaugh, 57, died July 19 in John Warner Hospital at Clinton. He had a heart attack that morning while at work at a new home site north of Kenney.
Funeral services were held Sunday in the Kenney Christian Church with Rev. Paul Enabnet and Rev. Roy Trueblood officiating. Burial was in Pleasant Valley Cemetery.
He was born March 26, 1905 in Kenney, a son of Johnson and Estella Fort Aughenbaugh. He married Ethel DeWolfe of Decatur on Sept. 1, 1937.
Surviving are his wife; two daughters, Sandra Kay and Janice Ann both at home; two sisters, Mrs. Rita Kellington, and Mrs. Helen Peacock, both of Kenney.
He was a member of the Kenney Christian Church.
