Funeral services for Donald Aughenbaugh who died in an automobile accident on Route 54, a half mile west of Clinton early Saturday morning, were held Monday at the Christian Church in Kenney. Rev. Paul Enabnit officiated and burial was in Pleasant Valley Cemetery.
Aughenbaugh, who was driving alone, was returning from a basketball game at Clinton. The right wheels of his car slipped off the pavement according to the report and when the car pulled back onto the highway it crossed into the path of an eastbound truck.
Donald Raymond Aughenbaugh, 22, was born June 18, 1938 at Kenney, a son of Wales Leland and Ethel De Wolfe Aughenbaugh.
He is survived by his parents; two sisters, Sandra J.; and Janice M. both at home; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. William R. De Wolfe, Decatur.
He was a 1956 graduate of Clinton Community High School and was employed at Rolofsons Body Shop in Clinton. He was a member of the Kenney Christian Church and the Odd Fellows Lodge at Kenney.
