Mrs. Lucille Blue Woodruff, age 80, died Sunday, July 28 1991 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. Funeral services were Monday, July 29 at Houston Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in McCondy Baptist Cemetery with the Rev. Sonny Kelly and the Rev. Barron Pilgrim officiating.

The daughter of the late Mathaniel Blue and the late Myrtle Smith, she was born in Chickasaw County. She was the widow of the late Robert Roy Woodruff, who died December 20 1972 and was a housewife. She was a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church.

Survivors include six daughter, Mrs. Sara Dendy, Miss Dora Woodruff, Mrs. Mackie May, Mrs. Helen Pate and Mrs. Joann Fortner, all of Houston and Mrs. Margaret Nelson of Woodland; two son, John Robert Woodruff and Frank Woodruff, both of Houston; one brother, James Blue of Greenbrier, Arkansas; 18 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Steve Pate, Tommy Dendy, Jimmy Dendy, Donnas Dendy, Gary Dendy, David Woodruff and Andy May.

Houston Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
