Fred Blue
Funeral services for Fred Blue of Houston were held Saturday, August 30 at the Houston Funeral Home with burial at Macedonia Cemetery. The Rev. Billy Davis officiated.
Mr. Blue, 72, died Thursday, Aug 28, at the Pontotoc Community Hospital. He was a retired butcher.
A native Mississippian he was the son of Make Blue and Mrs. Myrtie Smith Blue.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Burkett Griffin Blue of Houston; three sons, Greddie Blue, Houston, M G Blue of Mineral Wells, Texas and A R Blue of Houston; two brothers, Hiram Blue of Pontotoc and James F Blue of Mineral Wells, Texas; a sister Mrs. Lucille Woodruff of Woodland; eleven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Serving as Pallbearers were Frankie Smith, Tommy Smith, Tommy Wiginton, Billy Blue, J W Blue and James Robert Woodruff.
