Hazel M. Berg, 86, formerly of Birdseye, died at 5:45 pm March 17 at Huntingburg Convalescent Center. A native of Birdseye, born May 4, 1910, she was the daughter of the late Silas and Sarah Cox Cook. She was a homemaker and a member of Anderson Valley Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her musband, Murell E. ( Butch ) Berg, three brothers, Lionel, Henry and George Cook, and two sisters, Mollie Leonard and Lola Austin. Survivors include a son, Michael Berg of Birdseye; a daughter, Madge Bosley of Paoli; nine grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Burial in Birdseye Cemetery
