William Luft 87 years of age, a resident of Sciota Township a large part of his life, expired at his home at 7:30 o'clock this morning. He had been ill for 23 days. Death was attributed to heart disease and a complication of alments. Mr Luft had been in poor health for a year.

Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at his residence, with the Rev. Peter Hoecken, Paster of St. Johns Evangelical Church of Owosso officiating. Burial will take place at Bennington.

Born in New Haven Township on September 18, 1866. Mr luft was the son of John and Louisa Luft. He was married on April 1, 1919, in Owosso, to Miss Amelia H. Hintz. For several years they resided in Northern Michigan where Mr. Luft was engaged in lumbering work.

Surving are the widow and eight step-children. He leaves a brother, Fred Luft of Owosso and two sisters, Mrs. Otto Frelitz of Chesaning and Mrs. John Miller of Chesaning.
There are 16 grandchildren.

SPECIAL NOTE- William married his brother's wife Amelia after Henry died. His obit states he was survived by 8 STEP children.
