Mrs. Mary Dusek Dies in Hastings
Mrs. Mary Dusek died on Saturday at noon at the Good Samaritan Village in Hastings. She was 96 years old.
Funeral services for Mrs. Dusek were held on Tuesday, September 25, at 10:00 a.m. at the Butler Funeral Home, Blue Hill, with Rev. Gertrude McCallum officiating. Burial was in the Cloverton Cemetery.
Mrs. Dusek was born in New York City in 1875. She came to Webster County as an infant with her parents and resided in the county until 1961. She has made her home at the Good Samaritan Village in Hastings for the past ten years.
She is survived by two daughters, Agnes Blum and Elizabeth Kuhn, both of Hastings, and three sons, Joe of Hastings; James of South Gate, California; and Frank of Estacada, Oregon. A daughter-in-law, Agnes Dusek of Blue Hill, and a brother, Edward Sidlo of Red Cloud also survive.
There are 18 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, 4 great, great grandchildren as well as many other relatives and friends who will mourn her passing.
