Former Shawnee resident Roxie Brown, 83, died Monday at her residence in Wildomar, Calif.
She was born Jan. 15, 1915, in Kilgore, Texas, to Bill and Emma Simpson. She married Louis Brown. She was a member of the Pentecostal faith.
She is survived by her sons, Noel Rosser, Moore,Oklahoma and John Rosser, Wildomar, Calif.; nine grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband , one son Curtis Rosser and her parents.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. today at Trinity Chapel, Resthaven Memorial Park with Pastor Fred H. Owens officiating.
