Survivors include his wife, Sheila Carroll of Marietta, Ga.; one daughter, Melissa Carroll Kromer of Marietta, Ga.; one son, Brad Carroll of Marietta, Ga.; one granddaughter; three sisters, Marsha Flanigan of Athens, Pat Young of Acworth, Ga., and Gail Johnson of Blue Ridge, Ga.; and four brothers, Jim Carroll of Marietta, Ga., Tom Carroll of Blue Ridge, Ga., Steve Carroll of Acworth, Ga., and Jeff Straub of Plymouth, Minn.
Funeral services were 2 p.m. Friday at Mayes Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home and Crematory with the Rev. Cliff Duvall and the Rev. Hal Cole officiating.
