Margaret E. "Jimmy" Burke, 70, of Kincaid, died at 3:30 p.m., Saturday, November 19, 1988, at St. Vincent Memorial Hospital in Taylorville.
Mrs. Burke was born on July 9, 1918, at Flora, a daughter of Richard and Cora Farris Smith. She married Patrick Burke on August 27, 1938 at St. Charles, Missouri. He preceded her in death on January 29, 1983.
Mrs. Burke is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Dana (Donna) Lane of Taylorville; two sisters, Mrs. Hazel Driskell of Taylorville and Mrs. Violet Reeves of Jeisyville; and three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 22, 1988, at Masterson Funeral Home in Kincaid, with Rev. Thomas H. Hubbell of the Kincaid and Tovey United Methodist Churches officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery in Taylorville.
Visitation will from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Monday, November 21, 1988, in the funeral home
