Richard Allen Smith, 87 of Kincaid, died at 4:45 a.m. Thursday in Huber Hospital in Pana.
Richard was born in Flora, Illinois on January 1, 1875 to William Harvey and Catherine Matilda (Sparks) Smith.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Masterson & McManus Funeral Home, Kincaid, IL with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery, Taylorville, IL.
He leaves four daughters, Mrs. Troy (Violet) Reeves, Taylorville, Mrs. Keith (Hazel) Driskell, Mrs. Frank (Gladys) Bucshon, and Mrs. Patrick (Margaret) Burke all of Kincaid.
He was preceed in death by his parents, wife Cora (Farris) Smith, one son Lewis Marshall Smith, two brother's Arthur "Art" Smith and William Simon Smith and one grandson Larry Eugene Bucshon.
