Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday in Dawson & Wikoff Funeral Home, Maroa, with visitation 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Maroa Cemetery.
Mr. Cooper was born in Rowell, son of Robert Leroy and Sylvia W. Cooper. He was a retired electrical salesman. He was a member of Maroa Christian Church, Maroa Masonic Lodge 454 AF & AM, Weilepp Cramer Legion Post 660 and was a Navy veteran of World War II, having served in the construction brigade. He married Thelma Jane Troxell on April 16, 1935 in Rockville, IN.
Surviving are his wife; daughters, Mrs. Roger (Sharilyn Virginia) Willer of Roselle; Mrs. Roy (Rosalyn Jeanine) Deeton of Houston, TX.; brother, Elwood of Maroa; sisters, Grace Braden of Forsyth; Rosalie Long of St. Louis, MO.; Naomi Taylor of Maroa; Dorothy Baldwin of Clinton; three grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
