Mrs. Minnie Hoover, 707 Grand avenue, died at 6 o'clock last night at the Callaway Memorial Hospital. She would have been 68 years old next week.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock next Sunday afternoon, at Bethel Church, Readsville, and interment will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Hoover was born June 16, 1898, in Bluffton, Mo., daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Carver. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Hoover, who died in 1951.
Survivors include the following sons and daughters:
Charles Hoover, Jr., of Auxvasse, Raymond Hoover of Vandalia, James Hoover of Mokane, Sterlin Hoover of Claypool, Ariz., and Leslie, Robert and Ronald Gene Hoover of Fulton; Mrs. Helen Lawrence of Lawrence, Kan., Mrs. Shirley Holzhauser of St. Charles, Mrs. Amanda Matteson of Alton, Ill., Mrs. Evelyn Gage of St. Charles, Mrs. Vera Gilmore of Claypool, Ariz., Mrs. Vyrla David of Fulton, Mrs. Carolyn Sue Rippeto of O'Fallon.
Also surviving is a brother, Bradford Carver of Williamsburg; two sisters, Mrs. Clarence Blackburn of Fulton and Mrs. Clara Ferrier of Mexico; and 43 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. One son, Glenn Wayne Hoover, died in 1950.
