Married to the former Melissa Margason in Belvidere, in 1944. Employed as a cement finisher by Lundin and Grip Inc. for many years retireing five years ago.
Survivors include: widow; one step-son, Donald Black; two step-daughters, Mrs. Ruby Stanger and Mrs. Hazel Malone, all of Rockford; one sister, Mrs Signa Jenson, Rockford; one brother, William Sandstrom, in California. Services at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 16, in Fred C. Olsen Mortuary, 1001 2nd Ave., with the Rev. O. Garfield Beckstrand II, pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church, officiating. No Visitation.
