Alabama Community Farmer Passes Away in Sanitarium.

Leroy Alonzo Caskey, 65-year-old farmer of the Alabama community north of Arcadia, passed away Saturday in a Shreveport sanitarium. Mr. Caskey was a sufferer of cancer of the stomach and his condition had gradually become worse for several weeks prior to his death.

Mr. Caskey was a native of Bienville parish and a son of John Clark Caskey. Funeral services were held Sunday morning at Alabama church with the Rev. W. T. Strain of Simsboro, officiating. Interment was in Arcadia cemetery.

The deceased is survived by his widow, several children and a large number of other relatives.
