Mrs. Mary Fowler, of Avondale street, had a stroke of paralysis, yesterday morning, and her conditions is now considered serious.

Those Who Passed Away Within a Few Days.

Mrs. Mary Fowler, widow of the late Jacob Fowler, died Saturday night at her home in Avondale street, aged 66 years. Deceased has not been well for several years, and on last Friday suffered the third stroke of paralysis which ultimately caused her death. She was the mother of eight children, six of whom survive and are left to mourn her loss. She was an earnest, consistent member of the First M. E. church. The funeral will take place tomorrow afternoon at 1 o'clock from her late residence, Doctor Hastings officiating. Interment will be made at Spring Grove.

Deaths Of A Day.

Mrs. Mary Fowler.

Mrs. Mary Fowler, who was stricken with paralysis at the home of her son, Charles Fowler, of Sixth street, Friday morning, lingered until a few minutes past 11 o'clock, Saturday evening and then passed away. Deceased suffered greatly. She never spoke after she was stricken down. Three years ago, Mrs. Fowler suffered a slight attack of paralysis, which was followed by another about a year since. Prior to the final stroke, though an invalid, Mrs. Fowler was able to help herself. Deceased was 66 years old, and was born in Hancock Co., W. Va. The greater portion of her life was spent in this section. Her husband has been dead more than two decades. Six children are left - Charles, Samuel, Zadoc, Belle, Mrs. Sarah Pauliv and Mrs. Marie Weaver. The last named lady resides in Covington, Ky.; the other members of the family live in East Liverpool. Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. Hastings, of Toronto, at the late home at Avondale and Minerva streets, to-morrow afternoon at 1 o'clock. Mrs. Fowler was a member of the M. E. church. Deceased was held in high esteem by all who knew her. Interment will be in Spring Grove cemetery.
