ASSARIA~ Myreta Carrie Oetting, 84, Assaria, died Monday, Feb. 13, 1989, at the Bethany Home, Lindsborg.

Mrs. Oetting was born Myreta Carrie Schmidt on Sept. 1, 1904, in Barnard. she was a resident of Assaria since 1941, moving from Lincoln. She was a homemaker and a member of the Assaria Lutheran Church, WELCA, Victory EHU, Assaria, and the Red Cross Volunteers at Asbury-Salina Regional Medical Center.

Her Husband, William Henry, died in 1982.

Survivors include: a son, William K. of Wichita; a daughter, Lois James of Mentor; two brothers, Lewis Schmidt of Harrisonville, MO, and Clarence Schmidt of McPherson; a sister, Dorothy Allen of Breaux Bridge, LA; five grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Assaria Lutheran Church, the Rev. William E. Buschbom officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
