Lewis Schmidt, 91, Harrisonville, died July 22, 1994, in the Golden Years Care Services nursing home, Harrisonville. Mr. Schmidt was born in Barnard, Kan., and lived in the Harrisonville area most of his life.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Harrisonville; burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Raytown. Friends may call from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Atkinson Chapel, Harrisonville, where the rosary will be said at 8 p.m.
He was a farmer, retiring in 1987. He was a member of the church.
His wife, Adeline Schmidt, died Dec. 10, 1993.
Survivors include two sons, Robert Schmidt, Harrisonville, and Ronald Schmidt, Kansas City; a daughter, Marilyn Gillespie, Homewood, Ala.; a sister, Dorothy Allen, Louisiana; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
