Moses was married to Elizabeth Gordon before 1891 probably in Clinton County NY. They had two daughters (Mary Elizabeth b 1891 and Anna b 1893 both in born in NY.)

Moses Murray, 79 died Monday afternoon after a long illness. He came to Norwood about ten months ago from Moira.

A son of Moses and Mathilda (Mayville) Murray he was born Aug 25, 1864 at Bombay. He married Miss Bessie Rushlaw of Brushton Dec 19, 1902. He had been a farmer most of his life.

Funeral will be held at 2 o'clock Thursday at the home of his daughter Mr and Mrs Ralph Trimm with Rev John E. Pickens officiating. Burial will be made at Riverside Cemetery.

Mr. Murray is survived by his wife and six children, Mrs Amelia Williams of Sanquoit, Mrs Ralph Trimm of Norwood, Mrs Bertha Russell of North Stockholm, Mrs Mayfred Wendling of Baldwinsville, Manford Murray and Miss Agnes Murray of Norwood; one brother Charles Murray and two sisters Mrs Marry Phillips and Mrs Hattie Lamori all of Brushton and six grandchildren.
