The Estrick name was changed around the late 1840s by three brothers, John, Samuel, and Lewis. From Estrick to Eastright and Estright.

Christian Estrick / Eastright, was born in Morrison Cove, Huntingdon County, (which became Blair County in 1846) Pennsylvania in 1836, to Lewis and Catharine Rhodes Estrick / Estright. Chris, as his family and friends called him, worked as a farm laborer until the Civil War, when he enlisted with the Union Army on June 11, 1861. He signed up as Christian Eastright and was assigned to Company H, 191st regiment. In September 1864, he transfer to the 8th Regiment of Pennsylvania, Infantry, 37th Volunteers. Chris was serving under Lieutenant General Ulysses S. Grant when he was shot by a sharpshooter at Corbin's Bridge in the Battle of Spotsylvania Court House in Spotsylvania County, Virginia on May 8, 1865. He died in Alexandria, Fairfax County, Virginia from his wounds on May 30, 1865. Chris is buried at Alexandria National Cemetery. Chris never married.

A couple of suggestions, refer to page 774, Volume 1, Bates' History of Pennsylvania Volunteers: reference notes Eastright, Christ entered service with Company F, 8th Pennsylvania Reserve Infantry on Aug. 11, 1861, was wounded at Wilderness, May 8, 1864, then transferred to 191st Reg., P. V., May 15, 1864.

Second refer to page 1454, Volume 2, New Jersey Adjutant General's Report on New Jersey serving in other states' units (8th PA Reserve): reference notes Private #7 as Eastright, Christian, of Company F, died of wounds received in action.
