JOSEPH RAYMOND CHIOZZA, 81, of Memphis, retired food service director for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and former manager of Bella Vista Country Club, died of heart failure Sunday at Saint Francis Hospital. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Spirit Catholic Church with burial in Calvary. Memphis Funeral Home Poplar Chapel has charge. He was a World War II Army Air Corps veteran receiving the Purple Heart, Distinguished Flying Cross and the Air Medal with 11 clusters. Mr. Chiozza, the husband of Louise M. Chiozza, also leaves three daughters, Diane C. Foery, Sharon C. Turner and Andrea C. Soule; two sons, Joseph Raymond Chiozza and Christopher Alexander Chiozza; a sister, Livia Chiozza, and two brothers, Ettore Chiozza and Aldo Chiozza, all of Memphis, eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
