ETTORE ANTHONY CHIOZZA, 97, of Memphis, passed away early Thursday, August 23, at Methodist University Hospital. Mr. Chiozza was a longtime business owner of Chiozza’s Liquor on Cleveland Ave. He was also a lifetime member and usher of St. Therese Little Flower Catholic Church. Mr. Chiozza was the husband of the late Alaida Pera Chiozza, also of Memphis. He is survived by his children; Anne Giannini of Germantown, Amelia Dabbs of Memphis, Annette Miller of Memphis, and John Chiozza of West Memphis, AR. He is also survived by his grandchildren; Cynthia Giannini, Gene Giannini, Ali Rutledge, Karen Natter, Pamela Chiozza Nielsen, Dominic Thompson, and Michael Thompson; and great grandchild, Josh Hansbrough. Visitation will be Friday, August 24 at St. Therese Little Flower Catholic Church from 5-7 p.m. Funeral Mass will be 10 a.m., Saturday, August 25 at St. Therese Little Flower Catholic Church with burial in Calvary Cemetery. The family requests that any memorials be sent to St. Therese Little Flower Catholic Church, 1644 Jackson Ave, Memphis, TN 38107. Canale Funeral Directors 901-452-6400
