Graveside services for Margaret Douglass Boseman, 84, of Bonneau, formerly of Darlington, will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday, April 27, 2000, at Swift Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, directed by Kistler-Hardee Funeral Home of Darlington. Mrs. Boseman died Monday, April 24, in Trident Medical Center in North Charleston.

She was born in Chesterfield and was the daughter of the late William A. and Catherine Sowell Douglass. She was a member of Swift Creek Baptist Church for many years and later was a member of Dorchester Waylyn Baptist Church in North Charleston. She was a member of VFW. Mrs. Boseman was a homemaker all of her life, and she loved her home and especially enjoyed cooking.

She was predeceased by her husband, James Carroll Boseman, in 1968; a daughter, Mrs. Carolyn Boseman Loser in 1970; and a son, Bryant "Dusty" Boseman in 1997.

Survivors include two sons, James Michael (Sharon) Boseman of San Antonio, Texas and Douglass Carroll Boseman of Fallon, Nevada; one daughter, Rose Boseman Scott of Bonneau; one sister, Mrs. Elva Douglass Boseman of Darlington; 14 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
