Funeral Service Held Monday for P.W. Barham (Phillip White), 84, died at his home at 9:40 a.m. Sunday after a lingering illness. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Monday from the Christian Church with burial in Rose Hill cemetery. Rev. Dudley of Corsicana officiated at the rites. A native of Tennessee, Mr. Barham had been a resident of the Blooming Grove community for 75 years. Formerly engaged in farming, he was in the produce business for a number of years. He was a pioneer resident of this community, was well known and had many friends. Survivors are his wife, 3 sons, Joe, Nick and Bill Barham, Blooming Grove; a daughter, Mrs. Virginia Barnes, North Carolina; 14 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren, and other relatives. Pallbearers were Sam, Robert, Herman, Kenneth, Estel and Joel Barham. The McCormick Funeral Service directed.
