RETIRED FARMER DIES AT HOME IN DALEVILLE
W. W. Helvie, 86, retired farmer, died at his home in Daleville at 9 o'clock last night following a week's illness. He had been a lifelong resident of the community.
The body was removed to the Polhemus mortuary in Daleville.
Survivors are the widow, Mrs. Mollie Helvie; one daughter, Mrs. Grace Moore of Muncie; three sons, Owen, Roy and Vernon Helvie of Daleville; two foster daughters, Mrs. Garner Mooreland of Middletown, Mrs. Garrett Shirey of Anderson; one sister, Mrs. E. L. Jones of Warren; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
