STRAUGHN RITES HELD AT BETHEL

William John Straughn, 81, died Wednesday, February 17, at his home.
Funeral services were held Saturday from the Bethel Methodist Church near Rose Hill with burial in the Pilgrim's Rest Cemetery.

Mr. Straughn is survived by one brother, A.I. Straughn, Dozier; one sister, Mrs. Dollie Bryant, Andalusia; and a number of Nieces and nephews.
Mr. Straughn, a retired farmer, was widely known in the Rose Hill area.

Officiating at the funeral were Revs. Fletcher Wideman and M.T. Moore. Music was by the church choir, accompanied by Ronnie Driver.
Pallbearers were Gafford Sauls, Gus Croft, H.G. Kelley, I.R. Hammett, Marvin Hammett and Woodrow Wilson.
Foreman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
