A former resident of Unity, she moved to Fairfield in 1962. She was a former member of Harvest Moon Grange in Thorndike and had been employed in the canning factories at Unity and Clinton.
Her husband, James Bacon, died in November 1965.
Survivors include a son, Erland Bacon of Waterville; a daughter, Frances Pooler of Fairfield; eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A son, Lebaron Bacon, died in 1988.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday from the Lawry Brothers Funeral Home, 107 Main Street, where friends may call from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday. Burial will be in the Pond Cemetery in Unity at a later date.
