Mr. Gee was born Jan. 7, 1917, in McLean County, the son of Edwin and Julia Huston Gee. Mr. Gee was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church. He was a retired president and one of the founders of Bainbridge, Gee, Milanski & Associates. Mr. Gee was a graduate of the University of Illinois School of Engineering. Prior to opening B.G.M., Mr. Gee was senior vice president of Warren & VanPragg Engineers, Inc. Mr. Gee was the recipient of the Alex VanPragg Jr. award for distinguished engineering achievement from the Central Illinois Chapter of the Illinois Society of Professional Engineers. He was involved in Golden K, a volunteer at St. Mary's Hospital, Meals on Wheels and a life-member of the Illinois Professional Engineers. Mr. Gee was a World War II Army Air Corps veteran. He flew the P51 dive bomber in the 86th Fighter Bomber Group. He enjoyed bowling, fishing and gardening. He married Eleanor Louise McCulley on Sept. 25, 1942 in Savannah, Ga.
He is survived by his wife, Eleanor Louise; daughters, Jackie Sharp and Nancy Magill; son, John K. Gee; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sisters, Lois Abbey and Lucy Elliott. He was preceded in death by his parents.
