Mr. Barden passed away at St. Luke's Hospital on Monday, April 11, 1983, at the age of 75 years. He was born in Waukesha, WI, on May 3, 1907, and had lived in Racine since 1949. He served with teh United States Navy during WWII and was affiliated with the Navy Reserve retiring as Lieutenant Commander. Prior to his retirement he was employed by the Wisconsin Electronic and Power Co. for about 35 years, retiring as an Electrical Engineer in 1973. he was a member of the Naval Reserve. Surviving are his wife, Esther R. Barden; two sons and daughters-in-law, David W and Jean Barden of Bloomington, MN, Robert J and Betty Risley of Prairie Du Sac, WI; five grandchildren, Terri, Robert, Eric, David and Jonathan; one sister, Mrs. Lorene Feefe of Janesville, WI; two brothers, Frank Barden of Wausau, WI and Lawrence barden of Rockford, IL; nieces nephes and other relatives also survive. Relatives and Friends are asked to Meet at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 2201 Northwestern Ave., of Christian burial with Fr. Stanley B. Klauck officiating. Burial will follow at Wood National Cemetery, Wood, WI. Friends may call at the Wilson Funeral Home, 1139 Blaine Ave., this (Wednesday) evening from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. with the Parish Prayer vigil at 7:00 p.m.
