Born November 8, 1899 in Wausau, Wis., son of Frank and Mary Barden. Lived most of his life in Rockford. Married Helen L McGrath, June 22, 1931 in Rockford; she died in 1984. He was a self-employed attorney in Rockford for 50 years. Veteran of WWI, served in the US Army. Member of St Peter Cathedral Church, American Legion, and Elks Club. Member of Illinois Bar Association since 1943. Graduated from the University of Wisconsin and the University of Wisconsin Law School. Survivors include two dauhters, Jayne Smith-Arey, Rockford and Nancy Davis, Ann Arbor, Michigan...
