Rowena Short, 83, of Bonanza died Tuesday, Feb. 5, 1991, in a Fort Smith hospital. She was a homemaker and member of Barling Assembly of God Church.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Feb. 8 in Bonanza Assembly of God Church with burial in Mountain View Cemetery in Hackett under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood.
She is survived by a son, William Arden of Van Buren; one grandchild, Robbie Simmons of Van Buren; two great-grandchildren, Derrick and Bradley Simmons, both of Van Buren; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Darrell Newton, Charles Conley, Gary Short, Glen Slayton, Shelby Irvin and Dude Adams.
