OBITUARY: East Liverpool Evening Review, East Liverpool, Columbiana Co., OH. Monday, 20 May 1918, pg. 9.

Mrs. Mary A. Beal.

Mrs. Mary A. Beal, aged 74, widow of the late Samuel Beal, died at her late home on Baum street at 2 o'clock yesterday afternoon after a brief illness. The deceased was a life long member of the First Presbyterian church of this city. She is survived by one brother, Baker Allison, of this city, and four daughters, Miss Mary Eusebia Beal, at home, Mrs. Minnie B. Brenneman and Mrs. Clara Johnson of Pittsburg and Mrs. Lenora Ashbaugh of this city, and one son, William of Dresden avenue. Three grandchildren also survive, Walter Ashbaugh, Samuel Beal, and Charles Beal Brenneman. Funeral services will be held from the home of her daughter, Mrs. C. C. Ashbaugh, of Seventh street, Tuesday afternoon at 3 o'clock, Rev. J. J. Wyeth, of the Methodist Episcopal church officiating in the absence of Dr. D. W. McLeod. Interment will be made in the Riverview cemetery. Friends may call this evening.
