Alma Elizabeth Parks, of Saxton died Feb. 4, 1985 in the Morrisons Cove Home, Martinsburg. Born in Saxton on July 23, 1905, she was a daughter of Clifford Thornton and Ellen (Ward) Parks. Surviving are two sisters and a brother, Edna K. Parks, Saxton; Dorothy M. Parks, also of Saxton; and Forrest Ward Parks, Orlando, Fla. A graduate of Saxton High School, she graduated from Shippensburg State Teachers College. Having taught at the Saxton Elementary School for a number of years, she was later employed as an office supervisor at Scamper's Inc., Saxton.
