Obit in The Correctionville News, 25 November 1937, page 1: Frank Birchel Conley, the 9-year-old son of Mrs. Zerelda Conley of Anthon, passed away in a Sioux City hospital Friday following an operation for appendicitis. Funeral services were held at the Wilson-Hull Funeral Home Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock in charge of Rev. F.O. Johnson, pastor of the Methodist Church in Anthon. Burial was made in the Correctionville Cemetery beside his father, Clyde Conley, and baby brother. Pallbearers were Dale Dice, DeWitt and Bobby Steig, Russell Briggs, Gene Mahnke and Emmett King.
