Death of Mrs. Mary Birck

We are pained to record the death occurring at 8 P.M. Wednesday, of Mrs. Mary Birck, wife of the late John Birck, aged sixty-one years. Her death resulted from a paralytic stroke.

She was the mother of Philip Birck, Esq., the well known dairyman, at whose home on North Walnut Street she died.

Friends are invited to the funeral, which will leave the house at 9 o'clock Friday morning. The interment will be from St. Anthony's Church, China*.

*China, once a small hamlet, not considered a part of Madison, IN.

Rev. Father Fein officiated at the funeral of Mrs. Mary Birck, which took place today from the residence of her son Phillip, on North Walnut Street.

Religious services were held at St. Anthony's Church at China, where the interment took place.

Mr. Nicholas Birck and family, of Indianapolis, Mrs. Joseph Yunker and family, of Washburn, IL, and Mr. Peter Birck and family, of Indianapolis, arrived on last night's train to attend the funeral.
