Jason Warren Beauchamp was born September 13, 1973 in Austin, Texas to proud parents Larry and Elizabeth (Bostic) Beauchamp. He was the most beautiful baby with an angelic face and sparkling brown eyes. Jason attended school in Lexington and was loved by all who knew him. He was voted class favorite and best citizen every year. On September 8, 1989, during his sophomore year, while he was playing football for the Lexington Eagles against the Thrall Tigers Jason suffered a subdural hematoma and was taken by starflight to Brackenridge Hospital where he underwent major brain surgery. This traumatic brain injury changed all our lives forever. Jason loved football from the moment he was old enough to carry a ball and frequently asked Santa to bring him a new football and uniform for Christmas. During the time following Jason's injury, he touched many more lives. Coach John Mize from the University of Texas spent countless hours at Jason's bedside encouraging him and giving support to Jason and our family. The outpouring of love and support from our community touched our hearts and for that we will be eternally grateful. Jason had twenty four hour nursing care and was given so much love and exceptional care by his private nursing staff. Knowing he had such great care was a comfort to us.

Jason was preceded in death by his father, Larry Wayne Beauchamp, paternal grandparents, Tom and Etta Beauchamp, and maternal grandfather, Lawrence "Shorty" Bostic.

He is survived by his loving and devoted mother, Elizabeth Bostic Beauchamp, grandmother, Ruth Lawhon Bostic, brother, Gary Wayne Beauchamp, sister, Julie Kirk and husband, Mark Winston Kirk, nephews, Jacob and Jansen Jaeger, Gatlin Kirk, nieces, Kendyl, Madison, and McKenna Kirk, special aunts and uncles, Mattie and Bob Westbrook, Barbara Fisher of Lexington, Curtis Bostic, Julius Bostic & wife, Joyce, Russell Bostic and wife, Becky, Dale Bostic & wife, Virginia all of McDade, and numerous other relatives and friends. Also surviving are his second family of full time nurses, Peggy Els 17 years, Rebecca Langley 16 years, Melanie Spacek 8 years, Raegan Fritsch 7 years, Brooke Northrop 5 years, Bianca Penny 2 years and numerous others who gave many years of devoted care for which we will be eternally grateful. Jason is gone from us now, but will be with us forever in our hearts and never forgotten.
Serving as pallbearers will be long time friends, Travis Hobbs, Wesley McManus, Bradley Patschke, J.C. Washington, and cousins, Shawn Bostic and Seth Harris.

Memorials may be made to The Jason Beauchamp Scholarship Fund, 8731 N. Hwy. 77, Lexington, TX. 78947 or The TX. Head Injury Association in Jason's memory.
