Mrs. Mary Belle Buchanan King, 97, formerly of 260 Greer Road, widow of Tillman Vernon King, died Feb. 27, 2001, at Magnolia Manor of Inman.
A native of Spartanburg County, daughter of the late John and Grace Thomason Buchanan. She was a homemaker and a member of Little Mountain Baptist Church.
Surviving are one daughter, Ester Mae Brice of Clinton; and four sons, James Paul King of Lyman, Arnold Talmadge King of Spartanburg, Marshall Clyde King of Lyman, and the Rev. Harold King of Chesnee.
She was predeceased by a son, Leonard King.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday at Little Mountain Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. Ansel Norris. Burial will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be David Bryson, David Owens, Steve King, Stanley King, Kenny king, and Kevin King.
Her Sunday School Class will serve as honorary escort.
Visitation will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. tonight at The Wood Mortuary.
The family is at the home of a son, Paul King, 1216 Holly Springs Road, Lyman.
