KOSCIUSKO - Services for Dan Black, 80, will be held at 2 p.m. today at French Camp Baptist Church. Burial will be in French Camp Cemetery under the direction of Jordan Funeral Home. He died Saturday at his home after a short illness.
Mr. Black is survived by his wife, Mrs. Gail Smith Black; four daughters, Mrs. Janie Harvey and Mrs. Billie Barrett, both of Jackson, Mrs. Mary Jo Scruggs of Natchez and Mrs. Nancy McQuirter of Kosciusko; two brothers, Dave Black of Memphis, and Floyd Black of Canton; three sisters, Mrs. Maude Powers of McCool, Mrs. Minnie Robinson of French Camp, and Mrs. Ruby Chain of Olive Branch; 19 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.
