John Tyler Barton, 35, 432 N. 12th West, died of a kidney ailment Wednesday, 8:20 a.m., in a Salt Lake hospital. Born Sept. 28, 1928, Kaysville to Tyler H. and Elsie Layton Barton. Married Carole LaVerne Ericson May 29, 1952, Salt Lake Temple, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Graduate, South High School. Member, Twenty-ninth LDS Ward, Utah Association of Radio and Television Servicemen; Intermountain Electrical Assn., Co-owner State Electronics.
Survivors: widow, sons, daughter, Steven John, Keith Allen, Christine Kay, all Salt Lake City; brothers, sisters, Rex L., Seattle, Wash.; Mrs. Donald S. (Joyce) Austin, Mrs. Edward D. (Lucille) Barnes, both Holladay; Mrs. O. S. (Barbara) Davis, Santa Barbara, Calif.; grandfather, Frank L. Layton, Ogden.
