The death of Mr. George Coon occurred at 10 o'clock Monday evening following an illness of several months. Mr. Coon was born in Wisconsin in the year of 1863. He died at Correctionville May 17, 1920, his age at the time of his death being 56 years, 9 months and 20 days. He is a member of the Evangelical church, of which he was a good and faithful worker. He was kind and loving to all who knew him. He leaves to mourn his death, one brother and five sisters, Mr. Reese Coon, Mrs. John Kenyon, Mrs. William Pilkerton, Mrs. Sarah Patterson of Correctionville, Mrs. Thomas Clark and Mrs. John Clark of Canada. He also leaves an extensive circle of friends who will remember him as being kind and generous to all.
