Margaret Rebbecca Cheairs Family had a Coat of Arms Originating back to the 1600's. It has been passed from Family to Family since 1630. It was given to Baronet Cheairs, then Nathaniel Cheairs a Huguenot from Francis he came from France through England and setteled in Queen Anne, Kent County Maryland. The Cheairs all came from Him.
Rebecca is a descendent of of Nathaniel Cheairs. The Coat of Arms stood for Superiority, Noble Birth, and Luxurity.
It came with a Blood Sacrifice.
Rebecca is a Sister to Mary Ann Cheairs, the wife of Stephen Jefferson Stanley Jr.
Margaret Rebecca was born in 1818 in Hempstead County Arkansas to John Francis Cheairs Sr. and Eleanor Bittick Cheairs, Margaret was one of 12 Children.
This was a large family lots of Brothers and Sisters to play with this was a close family.
When Margaret grew up and married William Carroll Stanley on Oct.9, 1837 in San Augustine County Texas, Margaret's Sister Mary Ann Cheairs also married Stephen Jefferson Stanley Jr. a brother of William Carroll's only a month after Margaret and William Carroll married ( Nov.13 1837 )and another brother John Francis Cheairs JR. married Lucretia Basheba Stanley who was a sister to William Carroll also, so 3 stanley Sibblings married 3 Cheairs Siblings.
We think Aunt Margaret died in child birth when her daughter Margaret was born in 1854.
Margaret and William Carroll had a large family there were 10 Children born to there marriage there listed below by another Family member.

A note about Margaret's Father John Francis Cheairs SR.he was a Solider in the war of 1812.
John was comissioned an Ensign by Governor A.H. Server on April 20, 1824 in The Arkansas Militia from Clark County which was contiguous with Hempstead County Arkanasa John was later promoted to rank of Major.
John Francis Cheairs Sr. signed the petition to establish Houston County Texas as did serveral of his sons.
Also Margaret's Brother John Francis Cheairs Jr. is Buried in this Cemetery near her, he fought in The Battle of San Jancinto.
