Mrs. Laura "Lou" Lozena Dixon, age 76, of Sunbright, passed away Sunday December 7, 2008 in her home.
Lou established Lou's Café in 1960 and spent the next 47 years cooking and becoming a well-known and well-loved staple in the Sunbright community. She developed many friendships and relationships with her customers along the way. Her warm smile and personality will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her husband; Edward Paul Dixon; parents; Lonza and Ethel Ashburn; sisters; Emma Jean Adkins, Freda Justine McCartt and Mattie Lorene Peltz; brothers; Estel Ashburn, Chester Lee Ashburn and Hollis Ashburn.
Lou is survived by her only child; Karen Bell and husband Larry,
Grandsons; Christopher and Joshua Bell of Sunbright, sister; Mary Lou Martin of Sunbright.
Brothers; Oral Dean Ashburn, Noal Junior Ashburn and Arthur Eugene Ashburn all of Clarkrange and numerous nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends Tuesday December 9, 2008 from 6 to 8:00 P.M. at Schubert Funeral Home, Sunbright. Funeral service will follow at 8:00 P.M. with Bro. Herb Judkins officiating.
Graveside service will Wednesday at 11:00 A.M. in the Sunbright Cemetery
