Hollis Ashburn, 82, Clarkrange, passed away Friday, April 7, 2006 in the Cumberland Medical Center.
He was preceded in death by parents, Lonzie and Ethel Adkins Ashburn; children, Jackie, David and James; sisters, Emma Atkins, Tina McCartt and Lorrine Peltzrs, Lozena Dixon and Mary Lou Martin; and eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Sunday, April 9, 2006 at 6 p.m. in the Mundy Funeral Home South Chapel in Clarkrange with Bro. Charles Webb and Bro. Genesis Hawkins officiating with burial Monday at 10 a.m. in the Jonesville Cemetery. Pallbearers were Jeremy Pugh, Nick Yelinek, Larry Ashburn, Dusty Ashburn, Chip Wagner and Dale Knobe. Mundy Funeral Home South Chapel in Cla; and brothers, Estel and Chester Ashburn.
