Services for Mollie Faye Barton Burleson, 85, of Floydada will be at 10 a.m. Monday at First United Methodist Church in Floydada with the Rev. Wendell Horn officiating.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at East Mound Cemetery in Matador under the direction of Moore-Rose-White Funeral Home.
She died Friday, March 1, 2002.
She was born April 16, 1916, in Motley County. She married W.E. Burleson on Dec. 30, 1934, in Silverton. He died in 1975. She graduated from Matador High School in 1934. She was a ranch hand and cook in Floyd County and later raised cattle and farmed east of South Plains.
She moved to Motley County in 1958 and operated a ranch that formerly was part of the Matador Land & Cattle Co. She moved to Floydada in 1981 and joined the First United Methodist Church.
She also was preceded in death by a son, Barton, in 1955.
