John C. Booth, 75, of Wooster, died Monday, July 28, 2008, at Horn Nursing Center in Wooster Family services will be held Thursday, July 31, at Murray Funeral Home in Creston. Burial will be in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman. Friends may call Wednesday, July 30, from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Those who wish may make contributions to the Wayne County Red Cross, 244 W. South St., Wooster 44691. John was born May 16,1933, in Creston, to the late Henry Victor and Violet (LeMasters) Booth, and married Lucille Haley on Jan. 27, 1957. She survives. He had worked for Sears for 13 years and had fixed televisions and automobiles. He had made his home in Burbank, living in Wooster for the past 11 years. Surviving in addition to his wife, are children, Stephanie (Rick) Gallion of Wooster, George (Cindy) Booth of Coshocton, Flora (Patrick) Morrow of Akron and Henry (Terri) Booth of Pooler, Ga.; 10 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a sister, Rose Shepherd of Creston.
