Ella Lucille Booth, 80, of Wooster, died Friday, July 11, 2014 at Glendora Care Center in Wooster following a period of declining health.

She was born at the family home in Wooster on Dec. 15, 1933 to the late Ralph and Charlotte (Jamieson) Haley and was a 1952 graduate of Smithville High School. On Jan. 27, 1957 she married John Calvin Booth, who preceded her in death on July 28, 2008. She had been the elevator operator at Freedlander's and had worked at Annat's in Wooster and had made her home in Creston and Burbank prior to moving to Wooster in 1998. She enjoyed doing needle work, reading and baking cookies.

Surviving are her four children, Stephanie (Patrick) Galion of Wooster, George (Cindy) Booth of Coshocton, Flora (Patrick) Morrow of Akron and Henry (Terri) Booth of Wooster; 10 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, a grandson and four sisters, Ruth, June Faith, Alice and Mary Jane.
